Stor & Straight Arm Awnings

Stor and Straight Arm Awnings
The Stor is an awning with rail fixing of arms mounted on the front bar.(see picture right) Two fixing positions are possible, one as an awning and the other as a vertical curtain. The projection of the Stor arms is 50cm.
The straight ‘drop’ arm system (see picture left) is the most traditional way of installing awnings. Projections of up to 2 metres can be achieved with the use of front drop arms. A feature of this system is the total independence of the rolling tube brackets from the arm brackets.
SPRUNG DROP ARM
As an option, the drop arms can be fitted with internal sprung arms, this adds a downward tension, which is passed on to the fabric, allowing it to withstand the effects of a breeze without deformation. The system is specially designed so that the tension does not loosen off as the awning is rolled, in order not to submit either the fabric or the supports to unnecessary stress when the awning is rolled up, at the same time making the assembly easier to handle.
